SKU: MRCD-022 Category:

Description

Following on from “Travels with my lute”, Ryosuke Sakamoto’s second solo
recording explores the notion that the nature of Renaissance lute music is
the unity of polyphony and diminution. In this ambitious programme,
Sakamoto draws on his experiences as a student at the Schola Cantorum
Basiliensis to present the Renaissance lute and its transformation in a
wider perspective.
